MVA offers its competitive program to players from beginning levels through advanced. Athletes who are placed on competitive team will train multiple times per week and compete versus teams from other clubs in various tournaments through out the winter and spring seasons. MVA provides different levels of competitive teams because we understand that everyone needs different time and/or financial commitments. MVA fields competitive girls teams in the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys as well as boys teams. Athletes who wish to participate in the competitive program must attend a tryout for their appropriate age group and will be selected for a team based on their skill performance and athletic potential.
“Dig It” is designed for beginning and intermediate volleyballers grades 5-8. Participants are divided into teams for practice and game play. Teams will practice every Tuesday and Thursday for the first three weeks of the program. For weeks 4, 5 and 6 teams will practice on Tuesday and game play on Thursday. Dig It is a 6-week program which runs in September and October.
The offseason is a great time to sharpen your skills and get outdoors for some fun in the Missoula sun. MVA offers a number of activities and camps to keep you volleyballin’ all summer long.
