MVA teaches a comprehensive curriculum to all of its athletes from u12 all the way up to the 18 National team.
We believe that in order to foster a healthy program the athletes need to be getting the same message from each MVA coach. All MVA coaches are given a detailed curriculum to ensure that all of our players are learning the same skills and perfecting them the right way.
MVA has a team for every player regardless of experience.
Over the past five years the MVA 18 National team has seen 25 seniors go on to play collegiate volleyball, but none of those players were experienced when they started playing. MVA “Silver” teams are beginning level teams that play shorter seasons for players who are just getting their feet wet with the sport of volleyball. MVA “Red” teams cater to players who have more experience but don’t want to invest the time and effort needed to play on a national-level team, leaving more time for other sports and activities. See Program Descriptions for more details.
MVA offers training opportunities outside of the team environment allowing the athlete to improve at an accelerated rate.
In addition to our competitive teams, MVA also offers various supplemental training opportunities for all our member athletes. Speed and Agility classes, Position Specific clinics and private lessons are all available to every MVA player. See Program Descriptions for more details.
